Week 15 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Jordy Nelson and Other WRs to Start

Zach KruseDec 16, 2011

In Week 15 of the NFL season, the following receivers are guys you should start on your fantasy rosters:

Jordy Nelson, Packers

Some will argue that Nelson could see some of the coverages that would normally go to Greg Jennings, who's out for two to three weeks, but I see it the other way. While more attention will be paid to Nelson, he'll also get a chance to steal some of Jennings' targets, especially in the red zone. The Packers should be in the red zone plenty against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Laurent Robinson, Cowboys

Robinson's snaps decreased last week with Miles Austin back, but he still went for over 100 yards and a score. There's a rapport here with Tony Romo that makes me believe Robinson will continue to be a big factor in the Cowboys offense. Plus, it's hard to forget about the eight touchdowns. All the guy does is score, score, score.

Demaryius Thomas, Broncos

There is always going to be risk starting Thomas, and I think you know why. His quarterback has a tendency to struggle during the first 45 minutes of football games. However, you can't deny Thomas' numbers over the last two weeks (over 200 yards receiving, three touchdowns), and the matchup against the Patriots this week is promising. Ride the Tebow magic.

Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs

Yes, I know, Bowe hasn't caught a touchdown or broke 10 fantasy points in eight weeks. That's a long stretch of mediocrity to start him now. But you have to think that Kansas City will be down early against the Packers, and Kyle Orton can throw it downfield if he's ready to play on Sunday. Bowe could snap out of his funk.

Mike Williams, Buccaneers

Williams has averaged almost 10 targets a week over the past month, and that's equaled three games with 80 or more yards during that stretch. Against a Dallas secondary that has struggled recently, Josh Freeman should look his way plenty.
