WWE TLC 2011: Expect CM Punk to Get Smashed to Pieces By Miz and Del Rio
CM Punk may have won Round 1 against Alberto Del Rio, but he’s about to get destroyed on Sunday.
Punk won the Survivor Series less than a month ago in Madison Square Garden over Del Rio, yet was taken down by him ADR and Miz this past Monday on Raw. It was the perfect table-setter for Sunday’s singles triple threat TLC match, which is the first one ever.
Punk looked very impressive in an easy win over Dolph Ziggler, and has been saying all the right things leading up to the last big match of the year.

Problem is…the pressure is too high for Punk.
For the first time in forever, there is no match involving John Cena, The Rock or any other of the greats of the sport. This is all on Punk.
Can he put on the show that millions of PPV’ers expect? Can he live up to the expectations?
Doubtful.
I envision Miz and Del Rio teaming up to make sure Punk knows his place. Everything has been handed to him in 2011 and he needs a cold reminder that he doesn’t deserve to be called the champion of anything.
The strength of Miz coupled with the impeccable mechanics of Del Rio should more than make up for the high motor Punk brings to the table.
You can’t forget about how hungry and determined the Miz will be in his first singles competition in months after being paired with R-Truth for what seemed to be an eternity.
As for Del Rio, he should excel in this format of competition. In the first ever Hell in the Cell triple threat match, Del Rio found a spectacular use for the Cell, locking John Cena out of it, and crushed Punk.
It’s been a banner year for Punk in WWE, but he’s about to end the season on a very sour note.
Better luck next year.
