Week 15 NFL Picks: Predictions for Every Primetime Game

Prime-time games have been relatively disappointing, and in some cases, downright boring in the 2011 NFL season. 

Not this week. 

Sunday night pits the Baltimore Ravens against the San Diego Chargers, a team that's clinging to their playoff hopes. 

On Monday night, the resilient Pittsburgh Steelers travel to San Francisco 49ers in an inter-conference that should feature a lot of major collisions. 

Here's how I see these two games playing out. 

Baltimore Ravens at San Diego Chargers 

The Chargers are definitely playing better football of late, and that's a direct result in the improved play of Philip Rivers. He has six touchdowns and no interceptions over the last two games. 

Baltimore's on even more of a tear. They've won four straight and have done so without defensive leader Ray Lewis. 

This game could be a little more high scoring than you'd initially think, and actually, I think the Ravens have the upper hand. 

They have seemed to realize that getting Ray Rice more than 25 touches gives them the best chance at victory. 

The Ravens coaching staff should do that on Sunday night, and the little terror will wear down San Diego's defense in the fourth quarter. 

Pittsburgh Steelers at San Francisco 49ers 

Where to start with this one? 

Two tremendous defenses battling in a true, old-school matchup. The statuses of Ben Roethlisberger and Patrick Willis could determine this game. 

I think Roethlisberger will play, and he should be able to find his speedy receivers on more than one occasion to score enough to outlast Alex Smith's consistent but not overly explosive offense. 

I simply can't envision Smith having a great game against Pittsburgh's defense.
