NFL Power Rankings; Making a Case for the League's Best Team
Is there really a coherent argument against the Green Bay Packers as the NFL's best team? After thrashing the Oakland Raiders 46-16 in Week 14, the Packers are 13-0 and have won 19 straight games dating back to last season. Right now, no one comes close to being on the kind of roll the Packers are.
Green Bay possesses a near-perfect offense right now, so much so that it has suffered the loss of its top running back (James Starks) and top receiver (Greg Jennings) to injury and won't miss a beat.
The Packers currently rank third in the NFL in total yards, averaging 404.2 yards per game, while they lead the league in points per game (35.8).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It all starts at quarterback in Green Bay, and Aaron Rodgers is having what might be the best season for a quarterback in NFL history. Rodgers has completed 305-of-438 passes (69.9 percent) this season for 4,125 yards, with a league-high 39 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He leads the NFL in yards per attempt (9.42), and his passer rating of 123.3 is 17.3 points higher than second place (Tom Brady, 106.0).
Rodgers simply can't be stopped right now. He is on a roll like I have never seem before. The guy just can't miss, and with a ridiculous amount of offensive weapons around, him it's no wonder that he's making things look easy.
While Green Bay's defense has been far from dominant, the unit has done enough to win games and has actually gotten better over the past few weeks. While the Packers are giving up a ton of yards (394.7 per game), they are only allowing 21.4 points per game, which ranks 15th in the league.
No one can score with Green Bay right now, and until an opponent proves it can slow down Rodgers and that offense, the Packers will remain overwhelming Super Bowl favorites.
