Atlanta Falcons Video: Watch Matt Ryan Lead Locker Room Jam Session

Matt Ryan can tear an opposing defense to pieces, but he can also rock out on the guitar.

Who knew? 

A few members of the Atlanta Falcons were preparing for their game against the Houston Texans earlier this month, and they decided to have a small jam session just for fun. 

Perhaps Ryan isn't too comfortable with his singing voice because he never opened his mouth. 

Brett Romberg, on the other hand, was not shy at all. Thankfully, he has a good voice, otherwise this video would have been a disaster.

That being said, it would probably have still made for great entertainment.  

The veteran center belted out some lyrics while Ryan played a solid tune. Romberg ought to test the music scene once his career is over. 

I was hoping for a freestyle rap or more singing from the chorus of defensive players, but nothing ever emerged. Maybe next time they'll let loose. 

The Falcons ended up losing to the Texans, but at least they had some fun leading up to the game. 

No word on whether or not there will be more locker room shows, but it's definitely a nice treat for the fans. 

Maybe when the season is over, they can start a band. 

On second thought, they should probably just focus on football.
