Chris Paul Traded to Los Angeles Clippers
During the course of the past week, there has been a lot of talk about where Chris Paul would go.
First, he was rumored to go to the New York Knicks. Then a deal surfaced and was promptly denied, which would send him to the Los Angeles Lakers.
ESPN is reporting he has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in a deal that also involves the Minnesota Timberwolves.
This trade will surely shake up the Los Angeles basketball scene.
The trade includes the following according to ESPN.
"The Clippers, sources said, will send guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick to the Hornets for Paul.
"
While it is to be seen whether or not this deal will be approved by the NBA, it ends a weeklong standoff between the league and the players.
