Browns vs. Cardinals: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More

Alex KayDec 14, 2011

The 6-7 Arizona Cardinals are trying to fight their way into the NFC’s Wild-Card race and are lucky to be facing the 4-9 Cleveland Browns at home in Week 15.

Cleveland has lost eight out of their last 10 and have been a disappointing team all season long, while the Cards are surging right now and have a chance to make the postseason.

Backup signal-caller John Skelton helped knock out the 49ers last week after they knocked out starting QB Kevin Kolb.

What's at Stake?

Arizona is just outside of the playoffs right now, and it seems that the NFC West might actually have two teams make it this year.

After the 7-9 Seahawks won the division last year, no one would have ever thought that to be possible in 2011.

But the Falcons and Lions are both 8-5 right now, just a bit ahead of the 7-6 Bears and Cowboys and 6-7 Seahawks and Cardinals.

If the Cardinals can win out, they have a legitimate shot of sneaking into the postseason and possibly pulling some upsets.

Browns Injury Report

QB Colt McCoy: ? (concussion)

WR/KR Josh Cribbs: day-to-day (groin)

Cardinals Injury Report

QB Kevin Kolb: QST (concussion)

RB Beanie Wells: PRB (knee)

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper

Start 'Em: Larry Fitzgerald

No one in the league has more heart than Fitzgerald, and he showed it against the 'Niners by coming up with a number of big plays.

He had seven catches for 149 yards and a TD at the end of the day as well.

Count on him to play harder than ever with a playoff spot still on the line.

Sit 'Em: Peyton Hillis

Hillis is a complete bust this season and has been able to get absolutely nothing going on the ground.

He’s not worth a start this Sunday, or this season.

Sleeper: John Skelton

If Skelton is starting, he’s a solid option in deeper leagues. He threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns last week against a very good defense.

What They're Saying

Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic points out that the Cardinals have a dangerous deep ball on paper but not in reality.

"

The Cardinals lead the NFL with nine touchdowns of at least 50 yards, one more than the Packers. That suggests that the team has done a great job of throwing deep, something it couldn't do it all last season.

But a look at how the Cardinals have scored those touchdowns puts a different spin on the story. Four of those scores came via punt returns by Patrick Peterson, who has touchdowns of 99, 89, 82 and 80 yards.

The other five touchdowns from plus 50 have been passes. Only one, a 73-yarder by Larry Fitzgerald against the Redskins, was truly a deep pass.

"

Tony Grossi of The Plain Dealer reports that Browns president Mike Holmgren was a little agitated with the press at his latest conference.

"

We're trying to be better, far as transparency and dealing with (media)...Sometimes, unlike years past, when you needed two sources, stuff comes out immediately. In our rush to judgment on things, I would ask you to believe me a little bit and trust me on how we're doing things around here. I'm not going to lie to you. We will try to get you the proper message at the appropriate time.

"

Browns Player to Watch: Seneca Wallace

If Colt McCoy is out, Seneca will play. He's a fun quarterback to watch with his ability to move around outside the pocket and throw the football.

He’s also seen time at WR, so he could be involved in gadget plays.

Cardinals Player to Watch: Larry Fitzgerald

Fitzy is a beast and will give 100 percent effort every game, no matter what the circumstances are.

It has paid off and his team has a shot at the postseason after a dismal start to the year.

Key Matchup: QB Battle

In all likelihood we will see two backup QBs going at it on Sunday.

Whoever makes fewer mistakes and manages the game better should have their team in position to easily win.
