NBA Rumors: Orlando Magic Ending Dwight Howard Trade Talks Good for All Parties
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Orlando Magic have ended trade talks for Dwight Howard.
Wojnarowski tweets:
"Orlando has ended trade talks for Dwight Howard, league sources tell Y! Sports.
"
Talk about unceremonious!
There were talks that would have sent as many as three first-round draft picks to Portland, Gerald Wallace and Brook Lopez to Orlando and Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu to New Jersey.
With all the trade talk we've had regarding Howard and Chris Paul, it's looking more and more like we might not get a trade for either one this offseason.
The reality is that if the best thing is that if the teams aren’t going to come to an agreement, it’s better for all parties to end talks. With an already abbreviated offseason, it's best for teams to be able to start preparing with the roster they will have for the season.
Needless to say, it's doubtful that we've heard the end of things, though. We've got all kinds of time until the trade deadline.
