NFL Playoff Picture: Coaches Who Will Feel Heat If Their Teams Fall Flat
The following five NFL coaches could feel some heat if their teams struggle down the stretch:
Jason Garrett, Cowboys
Jerry Jones has said that Garrett will be back next season, so, seemingly, there's no threat of him losing this job. But we've heard the Cowboys' owner sign this tune before, and the opposite ended up being true. A disappointing final three games might give Jones some pause on those words this offseason.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tom Coughlin, Giants
Coughlin has survived every Giants' short-coming over the past several seasons, but another collapse, especially after taking over first place in the NFC East with three games to go, could put some serious heat on him this offseason. Giants-Cowboys in Week 17 will have more than just playoff implications.
Norv Turner, Chargers
Has this ship already sailed? The Chargers are a long shot to make the playoffs, and most assume that it was postseason or bust for Turner in 2011. Potential losses down the stretch to the Ravens, Lions and Raiders could seal his fate.
Andy Reid, Eagles
The worst is probably over for Reid, who has seen his "Dream Team" turn in one of the more nightmarish-seasons of Reid's career. A few wins, especially against potential playoff teams in the Cowboys and Jets, would do the Eagles well for cooling the hot seat of their coach heading into next season. But how would a 5-11 or 6-10 season sit with management? Would Reid step down?
Rex Ryan, Jets
Ryan's job security isn't in question, but he'll take the blame if his team surrenders their current playoff spot. With games against the Eagles and Giants left on the schedule, it's not a given the Jets get to 10 wins. The bravado of Ryan is all fine and dandy when the Jets are making AFC Championship games, but will it grow old if the Jets are sitting at home in January?
