NFL Week 15 Predictions: Projecting the Week's Top RB Performances
Running backs are often the heartbeat of a successful fantasy football team.
With your club in the playoffs, getting consistent production out of your running backs has never been so important.
A few of the league's most talented and successful backs have favorable matchups in Week 15 and and should be in for big fantasy performances.
Arian Foster
1 of 3Surprisingly, the Texans were able to beat the Bengals in Cincinnati despite receiving 41 yards on 15 carries from reliable star runner Arian Foster.
He'll return to form this weekend at home against a Panthers defense that allows nearly 130 yards on the ground per game at a 4.5 yards per carry clip.
T.J. Yates proved to his coaching staff that he's not necessarily a liability, but they still understand that feeding Foster gives them the best chance at victory.
Chris Johnson
2 of 3Chris Johnson regressed against an assailing Saints front seven on Sunday.
He finished the game with a paltry 23 yards on 11 carries, but did catch five passes for 43 yards. Against a Colts defense that's among the worst in the league, he'll get back on track.
You can count on that.
Indianapolis' run defense is ranked 30th in the league, allowing a whopping 144 rushing yards per game.
Their secondary is arguably worse, so the Titans will be able to consistently move the ball through the air and on the ground all afternoon.
More than 11 carries for CJ and definitely a more respectable showing in Week 15.
Cedric Benson
3 of 3This is too easy.
Cedric Benson, a solid running back who's averaging a respectable 4.0 yards per game this season will carry the ball against the Rams' 32nd-ranked run defense that surrenders a humiliating 156.8 yards on the ground per game.
Marshawn Lynch, a back with a similar running style, had 115 yards and a score on 23 carries last week.
Cincinnati will ride the powerful yet elusive Benson to their eighth win on Sunday.
