NFL Playoff Picture: Nightmare Opponents That Will Ruin Packers Perfect Season

The Green Bay Packers are 13-0 on the season, leaving them six games away from the illustrious perfect record that has eluded every single team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins.

While the Packers will only be focusing on one game at a time, we can talk about the matchup nightmares that could end their winning streak at this postseason.

All of the following teams have the ability to push Green Bay to their limit and the offense to put Aaron Rodgers on the ropes.

New Orleans Saints—On opening night of the 2011 season, the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints put on one of the best shows this season.

While the Saints lost the game 42-34, they gave the Packers what could have been their toughest game they played all season.

If there is one thing Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers don’t want to see in the playoffs it's another matchup with Drew Brees and the Saints

Detroit Lions—The Detroit Lions have another chance to break up the fun in the regular season, but if they can’t beat them there, they may get a third chance in the playoffs.

While it’s incredibly hard to beat a team twice in one season, it is notoriously difficult to overtake a division rival three times in one year.

The Lions may not be playing their best football of the year right now, but they have the offense to pick apart the Packers defense. They also have the crazed Ndamukong Suh as well.

New York Giants—The New York Giants pass offense is one of the best in the league. The Packers pass defense is the second worst in the league this season.

What all that means is that if these two teams meet again, we should expect another 38-35 war like the one we had just a few weeks back when these teams met.

New York showed they have what it takes to beat the Packers. If the Giants get another chance, I don’t think they let it slip through their fingers.
