Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings: Ranking the Best QBs
In Week 15 of the NFL season, the following five quarterbacks are the top fantasy plays:
1. Drew Brees, Saints
Is this the perfect storm? The Vikings are the worst fantasy defense against opposing quarterbacks in 2011, and Brees has thrown for over 320 yards and at least two touchdowns in each of the last four weeks. The only thing that could stop Brees from having a huge stat line is if the Saints get a big lead in the first half and play conservative in the second. That's really the only tangible worry in this matchup, however.

2. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Same thing applies here for Rodgers and the Packers' passing offense. The Chiefs are reeling right now and will be playing under a new head coach. If the Packers score a lot of points in the first half, they'll likely sit Rodgers and most of the top guys sometime in the second. That could prevent Rodgers from putting up the big numbers we're accustomed to in 2011. Still, the matchup is good enough that Rodgers should put up top-five numbers in the first 45 minutes.
3. Tom Brady, Patriots
Despite some better showings in the latter part of the season, the Broncos still rank as the No. 31 fantasy defense against opposing quarterbacks. That should be music to the ears of Brady, who's thrown 13 touchdowns over the past five games. Could we see a shootout in New England on Sunday between Brady and the guy listed next?
4. Tim Tebow, Broncos
Too much credit for a guy who completed exactly zero passes in the second and third quarters last week? Maybe. But consider the numbers Tebow posted against a bad Vikings secondary two weeks ago in Minnesota when deciding his value against a Patriots secondary that has allowed over 1,000 yards with five scores over the past three weeks. The rushing numbers will be there, but if the passing follows suit, Tebow will be a top five fantasy quarterback this week.
5. Tony Romo, Cowboys
Romo did miss on a fairly easy throw to Miles Austin in the fourth quarter that would have all but sealed the game against the Giants. But don't forget that Romo also connected on four scores and had 321 yards passing in his finest fantasy effort of the season. In Week 15, Romo faces a Tampa Bay defense that is 29th against fantasy quarterbacks this season. Romo should have another big performance on Sunday.
