WWE News: Huge Update on Chris Jericho, His WWE Return and First Feud
Wrestling fans love to debate about what will and won’t happen in the WWE, and their latest arguments have centered on the series of cryptic videos that have been airing over the last several weeks.
The “Second 2012” and “Look Within 2012” videos undoubtedly appear to be promoting the return of a huge star, and fans seem to agree that the two most likely stars behind the video are Chris Jericho or The Undertaker.
Well, now we have the latest report that points toward Jericho being the one the video is meant for and we also have some huge updates on what’s planned for him when he does come back.

"Chris Jericho is still being reported by many inside sources as the guy who the 1/2/12 promos are for according to PWInsider.com. Jericho has denied seeing or being the person behind these promos on Twitter, which you can take however you want.
Jericho also made his famous "I will never wrestle for WWE again" tweet just a few days before the 1/2/12 promos started airing back the week of Survivor Series. This tweet was reported to have been interpreted by many in WWE to be a comical jab that you don't "wrestle" for WWE but are a sports entertainer.
According to sources, the plan is for Jericho to be a part of the Royal Rumble and penciled in for WrestleMania 28 is a match between him and CM Punk.

OK, so can we take this as the final definitive clue that Jericho is indeed the one who is coming back on Jan. 2?
Probably not, but the more reports that come out about these cryptic videos, the more all signs point toward them being meant for Jericho. Obviously, the mysterious nature of the videos—and the fact that they’re counting down to a specific date—remind us of Jericho, and there are also plenty of other indicators of a Y2J return.
He keeps denying he’s coming back on Twitter (classic Jericho), he consistently talks about the WWE product and complains about its superstars stealing his moves, and he’s got a ton of gas left in the tank.
I don’t think Jericho is done with the WWE for good as he’s implied might be the case, and even though we still can’t confirm he’s agreed to a new WWE deal, it seems like anyone else being behind those videos would be a total buzz kill.
The Undertaker is already under contract, so I find it completely unnecessary to push his return as such a big deal when he technically never left. Plus, these cryptic videos probably aren’t meant for the return of any other former star because the ones that have left the WWE in recent years seem to be done with wrestling for good.
Let’s just hope that Jericho comes back on Jan. 2 and faces CM Punk at Wrestlemania 28 like this report seems to indicate.
If that happens, I will be a happy man.
