WWE TLC 2011 Predictions: Why Triple H Will Triumph over Kevin Nash

Triple H and Kevin Nash will face off at TLC in WWE's first ever Sledgehammer Ladder Match. The stipulation is kind of strange given that ladders make great weapons, too.

This match is a confusing pairing for WWE, as neither man is in need of a win to go with a current push, and neither will gain much from a victory.

This match was put on the card as a way to use Nash and Triple H without having them be involved with the WWE title match.

With Nash being unable to put on an extended match this is the best they could do for him.Triple H proved at WrestleMania with The Undertaker that he can still perform when asked to.

Triple H is the likely winner in this match for a few reasons. The most obvious reason is that he is looking for revenge after being brutally attacked with his own hammer.

This kind of angle, where someone comes back from injury to take vengeance, usually sees the baby face win the return match.

Another big reason I think Trips will get the win is because if Nash wins, he proves his point, and WWE really has nothing else for him.

If Trips wins, then WWE could keep the feud going on RAW, even though that would upset many fans who feel the two legends should not be feuding with each other in the first place.

One major possibility for this match is that it will be used to bring someone else into the fray. Both Kane and Brodus Clay have very heavily hyped returns coming up soon.

WWE has kept Clay on the sidelines for so long that I am starting to wonder if he is actually still alive, or if WWE is pulling a Simone on us and all we are seeing is computer generated images. Maybe Al Pacino will come out and spill the beans soon.

Let us not forget that Kane and Triple H have a long history and his return could come at the expense of Big Daddy Cool and The Game.

If Clay or Kane is brought in for this match then it could lead to something much bigger down the line. Either way, though, if there is going to be a defined winner it makes the most sense for it to be Triple H.
