Move to PSG 95 percent complete for Becks

According to the Daily Mail, the move to Paris-St. Germain for Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham is "95 percent complete."

Beckham will be offered an 18-month contract worth in the region of £12million. Currently, the midfielder is out of contract, but with Beckham signing on to PSG, he has a legit chance to win league titles in four different countries.

Another Soca Warrior to the Galaxy?

With Chris Birchall set to make an exit, another Trinidadian international could be donning the strip of Los Angeles.

33-year old right back Carlos Edwards has been linked with a move to the club, according to SocaWarriors.com.

Edwards has had spells with Luton Town, Sunderland and most recenly Ipswich Town, but his biggest stint came with Wrexham, where he scored 23 goals in 165 league appearances.

The next Captain America?

He may not be the next Captain America, but eight-year old Landon Amand was named after Los Angeles Galaxy team captain/midfielder Landon Donovan, according to his parents.

"He is named after Landon Donovan," said his mother, Genny Armand to Tim Burt of the Orange County Register. "When he was born in 2003, Landon Donavan's picture was on top of the AYSO magazine and his older brother played AYSO so we decided, what a great name and we named him Landon. When Landon scored a goal in the World Cup, my Landon was saying, 'his name is Landon, too.'"

Amand was participating in an AYSO tournament in Irvine that saw the MLS Cup take a front row seat to all the action.
