Prince Fielder Rumors: Likely Destinations for Free-Agent Slugger
With Albert Pujols and Jose Reyes out of the free-agency pool, it’s Prince Fielder that has taken the helm as the most coveted free agent available.
There were several teams bidding hard for Albert Pujols, so with Fielder still sitting on the open market, those teams are expected to start chasing the services of the chubby first baseman.
The following teams all missed out on the Albert Pujols frenzy and will be very interested in making the move of signing Fielder to a long-term contract.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The Miami Marlins are the aggressors of this free-agency period, but the feeding frenzy may not be done yet. Prince Fielder may still be an option.
Miami went hard after Albert Pujols in the sweepstakes for his services, but they came up short. While Fielder isn’t the Latin face that the Marlins could use to sell the team to the fans, he has the talent to win over any fanbase.
If the Marlins are truly interested in winning, than submitting a bid on Fielder and trying to build a winner is the least they can do for the fans.
St. Louis Cardinals
Everyone knows the St. Louis Cardinals have the money left over now, and the gap at first base to make a deal with Prince Fielder is possible. Whether they will or not is still up in the air.
Fielder would be a great fit on a team that is looking for a face to hang its hat on now that Albert Pujols took his talents to Los Angeles. Prince Fielder could become Mr. Cardinal.
With little other help on the market that could come anywhere near the numbers Pujols put up, the Cardinals have to sign Fielder if they want any chance at another World Series.
Not only did the Texas Rangers lose out on the Albert Pujols sweepstakes, they watched one of their best starters in C.J. Wilson walk away as well.
With the two-time World Series runner-up Rangers losing more key pieces, the team has to take that extra money and bring in some serious talent. Maybe Prince Fielder?
Signing Fielder would get the team a long-term answer in the lineup to help ease the pressure off franchise man Josh Hamilton. Fielder would also be a boost to a lineup that was already as potent as they come.
