NFL Power Rankings: Stock Watch for League's Top Teams

Zach KruseDec 12, 2011

Let's take a look at the stock watch for the top 10 teams in our Week 15 NFL power rankings:

1. Packers: Steady

A 46-16 win over the Raiders gives the Packers a clean shot at 16-0, but will a potentially devastating injury to Greg Jennings make Mike McCarthy think twice about going after regular season perfection?

2. Ravens: Steady

For two weeks in a row, the Ravens have handled their business against inferior competition. Progress.

3. Saints: Up

Not only was Drew Brees a surgeon in the fourth quarter, but the Saints' win puts the pressure on the 49ers to hold onto their first-round bye over the final three games.

4. Steelers: Up

You'll be hard-pressed to find a tougher performance by an NFL quarterback this season than what Ben Roethlisberger showed us on Thursday night against Cleveland.

5. 49ers: Down

The 49ers ran into a Cardinals team that is playing well, but how poor Alex Smith played is a concern as San Francisco looks ahead to the playoffs.

6. Patriots: Steady

Outside of the top three quarterbacks, no player in the NFL has been harder to stop this season than tight end Rob Gronkowski.

7. Texans: Steady

Leading a game-winning drive, with 80 yards in front of him and no timeouts, might be the season-defining moment for the Houston Texans. This team has to have a certain level of confidence in rookie quarterback T.J. Yates now.

8. Falcons: Up

The first half was ugly, but credit the Falcons for storming back with 17 straight points to solidify their playoff spot in the NFC.

9. Broncos: Up

It's still unbelievable how Tim Tebow and the Broncos can pull off the same script every week. It's hard to see them not making the playoffs now with three games left.

10. Jets: Up

Since getting Tebowed in Denver, the Jets have taken care of their business with three straight wins. Their final three games (Philadelphia, New York Giants, Miami) aren't easy, but the Jets will be in the playoffs if they take care of business.
