WWE RAW: Complete Preview, Rumors, News and More for Dec. 12

Donald WoodDec 12, 2011

This Monday Night Raw will feature the annual Slammy Awards. This is an award ceremony held by the WWE to honor their stars and further inflate their own egos.

This will be a three hour episode of Raw, which means it should be one of the worst episodes of the entire year. With no direction for many storylines heading into TLC, this show will be terrible.

Where: Norfolk Scope Arena, Norfolk, VA

What They’re Saying

WWE’s official Twitter is hyping the annual award show:

2011 Slammy Awards

The WWE loves to put on a show for the fans, and this is just another chance for them to do that. Vince McMahon always pulls out all the stops for these programs, and I’m sure Monday will be just as filled with mayhem as all the rest.

What's more, this is also a good spot to see who the WWE is liking right now and who will be getting the big pushes moving forward.

Rumors: While there are no hard rumors about who is going to be there, the WWE is bound to pull a few old stars off the shelf for a cheap nostalgia pop.

WWE Title Picture

With CM Punk, The Miz and Alberto Del Rio all in the WWE title picture, several factors have to be figured out. While many will be worried about the Slammy Awards, these three men will be worried about each other.

Rumors: This is just a way to keep Miz and Del Rio busy while they figure out what’s next for them. CM Punk will not lose his title at a secondary PPV, so this match is merely a formality.

Cena’s Attitude

With changes supposedly coming to John Cena’s attitude after the slap from Rowdy Roddy Piper, the WWE universe is ready for the shift. While Cena wants to play the cool guy, he needs an angry streak and needs it now.

Rumors: Since it’s impossible to really turn Cena heel, the best you can do is make him an aggressive face but the WWE hasn’t even done that right.

Kevin Nash

Is this the week we finally see Triple H come back to the ring? It’s a three hour broadcast that would allow for one of Triple H’s long-winded speeches about being betrayed, so I find it hard to believe he won’t be there.

Rumors: The WWE has been playing their hand close to the vest with this one, but this could blow up on Raw tonight. Let’s hope we get a little teaser before the actual go-home Raw.
