Adrian Peterson Injury: Vikings' Star Running Back Will Be Fantasy Nightmare
It’s the first week of the fantasy playoffs and if you keep very quiet you can hear the hearts breaking of the fantasy owners with Adrian Peterson on their bench.
Yet another week of being listed as questionable with a high ankle sprain has fans pulling their hair out at the uncertainty of his playing status for Week 14.
Seeing a "Q" next to any fantasy player is a nightmare because you don’t know if they are going to play until the last possible second. That is bad enough, but put it next to AP’s name on the first week of the fantasy playoffs and hearts start racing.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"I think I'll be pushing for it no matter what, But I feel like coach Frazier has my best interests at hand, so we'll see how things go. Hopefully I wake up feeling great and I'll be able to kind of distinguish tomorrow when I run on it and things like that, see how I feel if I'll be able to play.
"
Nothing Adrian Peterson said made me feel more comfortable as a fantasy owner who built his team around the star running back. While the star still carried my team through the latter part of the season, this injury couldn’t have come at a worse time.
My hope is that AP will be able to give it a go and rush the ball maybe 10-15 times. That is enough touches to get some nice chunks of yards and even a short-yardage touchdown.
Odds are in favor of Peterson missing this start altogether, though. If you have other options at running back, I would be ready to use them.
The Adrian Peterson fantasy dream has turned into an injury nightmare.
