UFC 140 Fight Card: Winners for Every Fight on Jones vs. Machida Undercard

While the UFC 140 main event of Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida will be an extraordinary fight, the undercard will be full of intense battles to watch.

There is a good combination of fighters looking to prove themselves and veterans trying to prove they still have a lot of fight left.

John Cholish vs. Mitch Clarke

Predicted Winner: Cholish

Both of these fighters are newcomers in the UFC, and John Cholish will win this fight due to his strength over Mitch Clarke. Cholish is one of the more exciting fighters on the come up, and is a guy you must watch fight.

In his only Strikeforce appearance, Cholish submitted Marc Stevens in February for a victory. 

Rich Attonito vs. Jake Hecht

Predicted Winner: Attonito

Former NCAA Division I wrestler Rich Attonito will use his experience and strength to defeat UFC newcomer Jake Hecht on Saturday. Attonito is an experienced fighter and has won three of his last four Octagon fights. He will have little trouble defeating Hecht at UFC 140.

Mark Bocek vs. Nik Lentz

Predicted Winner: Lentz

Nik Lentz is undefeated in his last seven UFC fights and he will be determined to beat Mark Bocek after his last two fights ended in a draw and a no contest.

Lentz's style of fighting is the most exciting to watch, but it is effective and gets positive results for him. Lentz's aggressive style will be too much for Bocek to handle. 

Yves Jabouin vs. Walel Watson

Predicted Winner: Jabouin

In a match of contrasting strengths, Yves Jabouin will defeat Walel Watson with his superior stand-up style of fighting. Jabouin is a dangerous fighter who will come at Watson and not allow his talented ground based style to be effective.

Jabouin is no stranger to the UFC, winning at UFC 134 in the summer, and he will defeat Watson in an exciting match.

Dennis Hallman vs. John Makdessi

Predicted Winner: Hallman

John Makdessi has been a successful fighter of late, but he has not faced an opponent as talented or experienced as Dennis Hallman in quite some time. Hallman's two submission victories over Matt Hughes were really impressive, and his grappling skills will prove too much for Makdessi in this fight.

Jared Hamman vs. Constantinos Philippou

Predicted Winner: Philippou

Philippou earned an upset victory over Jorge Rivera recently and is a resilient fighter. Jared Hamman will be a tough opponent for Philippou, but if he can survive an early assault from Hamman he will have the stamina to outlast Hamman and defeat him. 

Igor Pokrajac vs. Krzysztof Soszynski

Predicted Winner: Soszynski

Krzysztof Soszynski is a supreme grappler which is exactly the style of opponents that Igor Pokrajac struggles to beat.

Soszynski is a strong fighter who will come at Pokrajac hard early on, and his strength and power will lead him to victory.
