WWE News: Segment Pulled from SmackDown. *SPOILERS*

T. SchaeferDec 9, 2011

There are times in life where we want to say "Just kidding!"

Luckily for the WWE, they have this ability with SmackDown. The tape-delayed show was to feature a heel turn by Kaitlyn.

In the spoilers on the show, AJ and Kaitlyn were defeated by the "Sisters of Salvation" Beth Phoenix and Natalya in Tag Team action. Kaitlyn subsequently turned heel and joined the heel duo after the match.

However, according to WrestleNewz, the match and heel turn were pulled from the broadcast.

Justin Eldridge speculated if Kaitlyn should join the "Divas of Doom" after some heelish antics on her part. For a few weeks, Kaitlyn has left AJ's side after being defeated time and again.

Things were supposed to come to a head on this edition of SmackDown, but the WWE had second thoughts apparently. Why the segment was pulled remains unknown.

Kaitlyn has a strong build for a Diva, so her joining of the "Pin Up Strong" movement of Beth and Natalya would have made some sense on that level. AJ, being a more petite individual, would have made a good visual impact as you can see in the video.

In the end, it could be they want to string out the turn to add depth to it or simply do away with the angle. It wouldn't be the first time they've edited out a segment.

Remember not too long ago they edited a fair portion of the infamous Rhodes bleeding incident after Randy Orton nailed Cody Rhodes with a bell that opened him up.

Ultimately, time will tell whether the WWE decided to do away with the angle or simply retool it simply for more "oomph."
