Week 14 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: DeSean Jackson and Other WRs to Bench
In Week 14 of the NFL season, you may want to put the following receivers on your fantasy bench:
DeSean Jackson, Eagles
Jackson hasn't caught a touchdown pass or went over 10 fantasy points in seven straight weeks. You never know when he might do something stupid to wind up in Andy Reid's doghouse, and he's also facing one of the better pass defenses over the past five games in the Miami Dolphins.

The Eagles might get Jeremy Maclin back, too, which could cut down on his targets. There's a lot going against Jackson this weekend to make you think about keeping him on the bench.
Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs
Similar story to Jackson. Bowe hasn't caught a touchdown or went over 10 fantasy points since Week 5. But to make matters even worse, Bowe now has Tyler Palko as his quarterback and a matchup this weekend with Darrelle Revis. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Reggie Wayne, Colts
Don't let Dan Orlovsky's breakout game against the Patriots fool you into thinking that the Colts are going to put up a bunch of numbers in the passing game. Orlovsky is still bad and Wayne still doesn't see enough targets. Against the Ravens' top-five pass defense, keeping Wayne on the bench makes the most sense.
Santonio Holmes, Jets
You like the touchdowns (three over the past five games), but hate the receptions and yards (under five catches and 60 yards in five of past six) with Holmes. Touchdowns have a tendency of coming and going, but yards are usually pretty indicative of the safeness level of a fantasy receiver. He's facing a good pass defense in Kansas City this weekend, too. There's a risk level here with Holmes.
Kevin Walter, Texans
Many will expect Walter to once again take over as the Texans' top receiver this week. Some may even start him with the thinking that he'll put up the requisite numbers. Don't forget that he still has T.J. Yates throwing him the football and the Texans want to run the ball considerably more than pass.
The potential is there, but Walter is a wild card you probably don't want to play in the first round of the playoffs.
