Ankles don't bend that way.

You are then struck with panic as you wonder if you had Roethlisberger starting this week.
And, in a very distant third, you feel bad for the ol' bloke.
What happens here is a complete breakdown of the offensive line, and it hurts just looking at it. Big Ben gets lit up by the Browns' Brian Schaefering and Scott Paxson. Roethlisberger’s left leg then looked to get stuck underneath Paxson.
That is when the pain that Roethlisberger must have had in his lingering thumb injury went away, because all the nerve endings in the ankle clamored for attention.
Roethlisberger was immediately taken to the locker room, walking with assistance off the field.
I do have to give him a great deal of aplomb for limping off the field. If I had suffered something that looked like that, I would have needed a cart and about three pints of morphine. As it were, the Steelers should be fine with a smart backup in Charlie Batch taking over duties.
Big Ben was 8-for-9 passing with 102 yards and a touchdown. That hardly makes the throbbing pain he must be feeling any better.
Hey, the good news is we have an entertaining injury video out of it.
