Roddy White: Woman Seeking Claim to WR's Riches
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had better pay up.
So says a Georgia woman who claims that White is the biological father of her four-month-old son. Per a report from TMZ, a woman named Stacey Hott has filed court documents demanding that White provide child support.
To boot, Hott was pretty specific about what kind of child support she expects.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In Hott's own words: "[White] is a professional athlete capable of providing generous support for the minor child commensurate with his earnings."
In plain English, White is rich, so he can afford to pay rich sums of child support.
And that's not all. Hott is also demanding that White take out a life insurance policy for the "benefit of the minor child."
You're probably curious how rich White is. After all, he's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and it's true that star NFL players do make more than most.
And this is true in White's case. Via Rotoworld, White inked a six-year contract worth $48 million back in 2009. Average that out, and White is worth $8 million per year.
However, the catch is that White's contract only guarantees him $18.6 million. In 2011, he's earning a base salary of $4 million. His base salary peaks at $5.6 million in 2013, but will go back down to $5 million in 2014, the final year of his deal.
In short, White is not as well off as, say, Larry Fitzgerald. His deal guarantees him $50 million, and he can make as much as $128.5 million.
To be sure, White can certainly afford to pay child support if it is proven that he is indeed the father of Hott's son. But given the language used in her documents (i.e. "generous support"), it sounds like she is expecting a few extra dollars to come her way.
To that end, Hott may be disappointed. Compared to other players in the NFL, White really isn't that well off.
Either way, the right thing will be done here. If it's White's kid, he should pay. If it's not, he shouldn't. Simple as that.
