2011 Armed Forces Bowl: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More
The 2011 Armed Forces bowl pits the newly independent BYU Cougars against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
Having won seven of their previous eight games, Tulsa is riding very high and is expected to play well in the game. Having only recorded four losses on the season, each of their winning opponents were ranked in the national top 10 at the time of the game.
The Cougars are a very balanced team with a tough defense. They only yield an average of 20 points per game. The Golden Hurricane, meanwhile, sport a less stingy defense, but score more points than BYU.
This game of balanced team should provide for a very interesting and especially entertaining Armed Forces Bowl

Storyline
BYU heads into the bowl game with a weak 9-3 record. After starting 1-2 on the season, BYU finished the regular season having beaten only one team with a winning record (Utah State).
Tulsa, the team who finished second in Conference USA, has a balanced offensive attack that will look to exploit the Cougar defense and secondary.
Who might not play for BYU
QB Riley Nelson- Probable (chest) Nelson makes his comeback for the Cougars who had missed a few weeks with a collapsed lung due to a vicious hit. He should be able to lead the Cougars throughout the game, if he can stay healthy
What the bowl means for each team
For Tulsa, they want to show that they truly belong. With a mass of conference re-alignment and additions still ahead, this may be a chance for Tulsa to prove that they can be a competitive team in a big conference.
Playing well will give conferences such as the Big 12 and even the Big Ten a chance to see a team showcase their skills. Tulsa also won their previous bowl game, defeating Hawaii in the 2010 Hawaii Bowl.
BYU, meanwhile, is enjoying their first year of being an independent team. They have benefited from the move, as a 9-3 record probably would not have been attainable in their old conference, the Mountain West.
Although the Cougars sport a 9-3 record, this bowl game will prove to be difficult for BYU.
Prediction: Tulsa 30 BYU 20
