Former Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is dispelling rumors he is looking to comeback and play in the NFL this season.
On his official website, Favre published the following message on Dec. 6:

Favre retired from the Minnesota Vikings after last season and rumors were circulating recently that he would listen to the Chicago Bears if they called him.
The Bears lost starting quarterback Jay Cutler to a thumb injury and Caleb Hanie replaced him. Hanie has struggled in two starts, fueling speculation that they might sign a new quarterback.
The Bears denied having any interest in Favre, and it appears the feeling is mutual.
