Week 14 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Tim Tebow and More Superstars You Must Start

Alex KayDec 8, 2011

Week 14 of the NFL season means your fantasy playoffs are starting or just around the corner.

Either way, it leaves you with absolutely no room for error when setting your lineup. You cannot afford to make a mistake by starting a player with a terrible matchup or doing anything else to harm your chances this week.

Let’s take a look at some fantasy studs that you need to roll with in Week 14 to guarantee yourself a victory.

There’s almost no other QB I’d rather have leading me to fantasy greatness. Tebow is a stellar option this week against the Bears.

Chicago has the No. 28 defense against the pass and the eighth-ranked group of run stoppers.

The Broncos QB proved last week that he could throw the ball—and throw it effectively—especially against an opponent that is focused on stopping the ground game.

As a bonus, Matt Forte and Jay Cutler won’t be active for the Bears. They will be going three-and-out and turning the ball over regularly, which will put the rock back in Tebow’s hands.

Steve Smith (Carolina)

The Panthers stud WR is going to continue his excellent comeback year courtesy of Cam Newton with another great performance against Atlanta.

He has historically lit this team up. What's more, after having just five catches for 66 yards in their first meeting this season, he should be due for a big game.

Aaron Hernandez

Rob Gronkowski has been hogging the spotlight and the touchdowns in the New England offense for the past few weeks.

However, Hernandez is too good to not catch at least one TD pass this week against a weak Redskins defense that is prone to giving up scores to tight ends.

Chris Johnson

CJ2K is back.

All of those players who gave him up for barely anything in return midseason are now kicking themselves in the butt. Those who fleeced owners and hoped he would produce like he is now are jumping for joy as he is peaking at the perfect time.

Look for him to continue his amazing production this week against New Orleans.
