WWE News: Can the Miz Be Rehabilitated as a Top Heel?

Finally!

The Miz has made it back to the WWE championship scene.

It took a while but he made it, and once the dust settles from the TLC match in a few weeks, we can at last enjoy a good feud between the Awesome One and the Straightedge Superstar, CM Punk, who will still hold the gold after December 18th.

Now, the Christmas present the WWE should give to The Miz is to allow him to carry on being a cold-hearted, backstabbing menace who takes out all who oppose him until he regains his precious title.

He was once the top heel of Monday Night RAW and the WWE Champion who defeated the mighty John Cena at WrestleMania 27.

Many, including myself and chairman Vince McMahon, believe in this Superstar's future, but making him be perceived as a cowardly wimp does not help anyone.

Could I suggest a slight alteration of his persona now that the sky is the limit? 

His legion of fans love him for being a suit-wearing, Maryse-dating loudmouth, but it is time to step it up a notch and impress the pants off of us at the next Pay Per View.

There is no doubt he can do it.

If the WWE Championship is to elude him this time then perhaps a move to Smackdown in 2012 would be beneficial, along with capturing the World Heavyweight Title from whomever is the top face there.

It should have happened this year, just like his reign should have lasted longer, but no matter, all will be made right soon.

A prediction for The Miz between now and SummerSlam 2012?

Winning the Royal Rumble, maybe, or an Anything Goes match against Mick Foley at WrestleMania 28—these seem like logical paths for him to take in order to return to the top of the mountain.

There are so many rumors about who is behind the mysterious video-playing on RAW, with a big  announcement scheduled for January 2nd. What if it is Chris Jericho?

Could you imagine what the Main Event would be like if you added Y2J to the CM Punk and Miz soup? Oh...My...Gulp!

Wow wow wow wow!

Heck, throw Dolph Ziggler in there and we wouldn't need John Cena anywhere near the title for a long time.

To stay on topic here—nobody is saying that The Miz should don a face mask and shoot laser beams out of his head, but just keep doing what he's been doing lately which is being destructive.

Keep the awesome promos coming and stay clear of bright colors.

Subtract that contract signing/GTS on Del Rio part and we have ourselves a top heel once again. 

On a personal note, I know he can do it. The new year sounds promising for everyone but for The Miz, it should be his best year yet.

Maybe he should also trademark a weapon like Triple H and his sledgehammer. Now here's an interesting thought.
