Von Miller: 5 of the Denver Broncos Rookie Linebacker's NFL Hipster Look-Alikes

Despite his thumb injury, Denver Broncos rookie linebacker Von Miller is still on pace to break both the Denver Broncos (11.5) and NFL (14.5) records for sacks in a rookie season.

But both during and after the 2011 NFL Draft, there was as much media attention for his style off the field as there was for his playmaking ability.

All I can say is his thick framed nerd-chic look tells us that he was sacking quarterbacks before it was cool.

Here's a look at five NFL players that may have stolen their look from Denver's hot-handed rookie (or vice versa).

5. Nick Fairley, Detroit Lions DT

Just like Von Miller, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley sported the hipster look on draft day.

Fairley also shares a penchant for getting to the quarterback, having led the SEC in sacks during his senior year at Auburn. So apparently sacking QBs is the new hip thing to do.

Bring it up in conversation the next time you're sipping lattes at your favorite dive.

4. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers QB

The ESPYs might as well commission a new award category for "hippest cat" because it seems like these days it's more likely you'll spot a hipster there than anywhere else.

Seen here is Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton with his fellow artists, actress Amber Heard and singer/songwriter Cee-Lo Green.

By sporting the thick frames, a lavender tie, and a skinny suit, Newton can't make it any more obvious that he's taking the quarterback position to a new scene.

3. Da'Quan Bowers, Tamp Bay Buccaneers DE

Doesn't just the name Da'Quan Bowers have that hipster ring to it?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive-end shows us in this picture that being a hipster isn't just about the glasses. It's also about listening to DeVotchKa on your iPad at the NFL Combine.

Like many of the others on this list, Bowers is a 2011 draft pick, meaning the NFL hipster invasion has only just begun.

2. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals WR

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin once described Fitzgerald as possessing a "different physical style" (metro.us). 

So in essence, Coughlin was essentially pegging the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver as a hipster.

This picture shows us that cashmere and leather watch bands make up a part of Fitzgerald's physical style.

1. Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos QB

If you were a hipster you would have seen this one coming, but yes Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is also part of the "in" crowd.

Just look at how Timmy sports the vest, pink tie, and glasses with confidence.

Add to that his recent book tour, and the fact that he is running an offense that the NFL has never seen before. Yup, that screams hipster if you ask me.

Von Miller and Tim Tebow have been teaching the Denver Broncos that winning can be cool.
