Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups: Matt Moore and Free Agent Season Saviors
The fantasy football playoffs are about to start this week, with teams looking to add that missing piece to push them to a championship. It’s why you have to sit a quarterback like Cam Newton and pick up the Miami Dolphins' Matt Moore.
Moore has had two games of 23 points or more in his last five games. Just last week, against a passing defense that is just as bad as the Eagles in the Oakland Raiders, he went off for 19 points.
This week against the Eagles, he may not have a big game through yards. However, he will throw three or four touchdown passes.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
On the year, this Eagles defense has given up 22 touchdowns to quarterbacks. That number puts them as one of the worst defenses against the pass in the NFL.
Moore is only owned in 18 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues, so you have to go pick him up right now.
Washington Redskins, Rex Grossman
Grossman should not have been your fantasy football quarterback past this week. However, this week he goes against a horrible passing defense in the New England Patriots.
This Patriots team gave up a huge day to Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky last week.
Against the Pats, Orlovsky was able to throw for 353 yards and two touchdowns. Just like Orlovsky, Grossman will throw for more than 300 yards with two to three touchdowns.
Since Rex was inserted as the starter again, he has had two great games of 27 and 20 points.
This week, against New England, the game will be a shootout. Washington will abandon the run early in the game, and it will give Grossman a great chance to have a huge game.
Buffalo Bills, Ryan Fitzpatrick
Fitzpatrick at one time was an every-week starter on fantasy football teams.
However, he has fallen on hard times and should be on your waiver wire. You have to pick him up right now for this week and sit someone like Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The Chargers come in ranked next to last in allowed passing touchdowns with 22. They are allowing quarterbacks a league-high 94 percent for a passer rating. While they are not giving up a lot of passing yards, they are allowing quarterbacks rip them apart for completions and touchdowns.
This week, you will see him revert to the early-season quarterback that made him a big point-scorer. Against the San Diego Chargers, Fitzpatrick will throw for at least 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Fitzpatrick will have time to find either his deep threat in Stevie Johnson or his big red-zone receiver, David Nelson. The Bills may not win this game, but you will win your fantasy game with Fitzpatrick’s multiple touchdowns.
These three quarterbacks should be available in your fantasy league. If they are, you have to pick them up right now to save your season.
They will lead you to a first-round win and one step closer to that elusive fantasy football championship.
