NFL Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups: The Latest on Must-Adds for the Week Ahead

Zach KruseDec 6, 2011

The following players are must-adds for Week 14 on the fantasy football waiver wire:

QB Rex Grossman, Redskins: It's hard to put a guy that played as poorly as Grossman did last week on this list, but the Patriots did a fine job of making Dan Orlovsky (30-of-37 completions) look like Drew Brees on Sunday.

RB Marion Barber, Bears: Losing Matt Forte for two to six weeks means that Barber has a chance to be the Bears' lead back down the stretch. With Caleb Hanie under center, the Bears will be running it plenty over the final four weeks.

RB Maurice Morris, Lions: At this point, you can't trust Kevin Smith to stay healthy for a full game. Morris is a safe option, as he contributes in both the run and pass game.

RB Toby Gerhart, Vikings: Who knows if the Vikings will rush Peterson back this week, but Gerhart played well enough on Sunday against the Broncos (over 130 total yards) for the Vikings to have confidence in keeping Peterson on the shelf for another game.

WR Malcolm Floyd, Chargers: It's amazing what the Chargers offense can do with all their weapons healthy. Floyd is one of them, and he went over 100 yards with a long score against the Jaguars on Monday night.

WR Antonio Brown, Steelers: How is Brown not owned in more leagues? The guy has five straight games with eight or more fantasy points and is clearly the Steelers' No. 2 option in the passing game.

WR Damian Williams, Titans: Nate Washington got banged up against the Bills last week, which could make Williams the Titans' de facto No. 1 receiver if Washington can't go this Sunday against the Saints.

DEF/ST Seattle: The Seahawks defense/special teams has scored eight or more points in four straight games, and they get a tasty matchup this week against the lowly St. Louis Rams.
