Tim Tebow Proves to Be Good Sport in Supporting New Tebowing-Inspired Eye Black
It has only been a couple months, but the act of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow kneeling in prayer (affectionately known as Tebowing) has taken the nation by storm. Now, athletes of any type can show their support for the craze thanks to new eye black from EyeBlack.com.
The eye black features a silhouette of Tebow in his patented "Tebowing" position, as well as his No. 15. As if that weren't cool enough, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora is reporting that proceeds from the sale of the Tebowing eye black will help support the Tim Tebow Foundation.
What started out as a joke regarding Tebow's religious beliefs is now something that will help something very near and dear to Tebow's heart. In addition to that, Tebow's involvement with the Tebowing eye black shows that he is a good sport with regards to others teasing him a bit.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While I don't want to be stereotypical, many deeply religious people tend to get offended if their faith is mocked in any way. That doesn't seem to be the case at all with Tebow, as he is obviously very comfortable with his religious beliefs and doesn't care what others think of him.
There have certainly been plenty of reasons for Tebow to celebrate with some Tebowing this season as he is 6-1 as Denver's starting quarterback since seizing the reigns from the since-departed Kyle Orton.
Tebow has been instrumental in the Broncos' ascent in the standings as they now lead the AFC West with a record of 7-5.
Nothing about Tebow is particularly conventional, so why should his style of play be any different. No regular starting quarterback throws fewer passes than Tebow, but few can run the ball as effectively as him either, as he has spearheaded Denver's option attack.
The only game in which Denver's new offensive attack didn't work all that well was against the Detroit Lions. In that game, the Lions built an early lead and continually taunted Tebow by Tebowing after sacking him.
Even so, Tebow has taken it all in stride and has not gotten upset at all—at least not outwardly.
Say what you will about Tebow as a quarterback, but there is no question that he is getting the job done right now. Much of that has to do with excellent play from his defense as well as running back Willis McGahee, but Tebow simply has a knack for coming through in crunch time.
Also, football aside, Tebow has proven to be a great ambassador for the NFL. While you may not like the fact that he is religious, at least he sticks with what he believes in and doesn't let others deter him.
You also have to give him credit for taking a craze like Tebowing and helping his foundation capitalize on it.
