Expert Power Rankings PFT: Cowboys and Raiders Headline Most Overrated

The Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys both lost ugly games in Week 13.

To be quite honest, it is a surprise these teams have won as many games as they have so far.

The Cowboys, in fact, still hold a lead in their division while the Raiders are tied atop their division. However, both these teams are overrated in Pro Football Talk's Week 13 power rankings.

And they're not the only ones.

No. 8 Dallas Cowboys

At 7-5, Dallas holds a one-game lead on the New York Giants in the NFC East with four games remaining (two against the Giants), and are lucky to be where they are.

Rookie kicker Dan Bailey has already booted four game-winners (should have five) against teams they shouldn't have been in games with anyway (except for the 49ers). 

We'll see what the Cowboys really have this week with a huge game against the Giants.

No. 10 Oakland Raiders

Oakland is also 7-5 after their embarrassing loss to the Dolphins. Yes, the Raiders are going to get Darren McFadden, Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore back, but they've proven time and time again this that they're not completely ready.

Right now, at No. 10, the Raiders are too high.

Carson Palmer is still figuring things out there are more playoff-experienced teams behind them like the Falcons and Jets.

No. 15 Cincinnati Bengals

Things in Cincinnati are quickly going downhill. The Bengals have lost three of their last four and their wins have come against the Browns, Bills, Jaguars, Colts, Seahawks and Titans.

Other than Tennessee, none of those aforementioned teams are in the playoff hunt right now.

The Bengals might have seven wins, but only one of them is against a team that actually mattered.
