NFL Playoff Predictions: New York Jets and Teams That Will Surge into Postseason
The NFL playoffs are on the cusp of starting, with teams like the New York Jets on the outside of the playoffs looking in.
The Jets are 7-5 this year and sit behind three teams for that final playoff spot in the AFC. To make the playoffs, the Jets will have to leap over the Tennessee Titans (7-5), Oakland Raiders (7-5) and Cincinnati Bengals (7-5).
New York sits behind these teams, with four games remaining on their schedule against teams that are currently outside of the playoffs. Three of those games have the Jets playing teams that have below .500 records.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With the Jets’ last two wins against sub-.500 teams, they have proven that they can take care of teams with lesser talent. They will win their last four games, while the teams that are in front of them all have a game in which they are overmatched.
With a final record of 11-5, it will have this Jets team entering the playoffs again as a No. 6 seed on a six-game winning streak.
The Seahawks currently are a long-shot to make the NFC playoffs at 5-7. However, they have broken out as one of the hottest teams in the NFL over the past four weeks. They have won three of those four games, establishing a very dangerous rushing game.
With the play of Marshawn Lynch, he has carried this Seahawks from the bottom of the NFC standings to near the playoffs. Before Lynch went into this late-season tear, the Seahawks were 2-6. Since Lynch’s explosive play, they’re 3-1.
They sit two games out of the final spot of the NFC, trailing the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears.
Seattle’s remaining four games see them play the Bears in two weeks, with a chance to overtake them for that final playoff spot. With the Bears sliding out of the playoffs due to injuries, it turns their Week 15 game into an elimination game.
From there, Seattle takes on a 49ers team with nothing to play for who will be resting their starters. Then they finish their season with the Arizona Cardinals, who will be playing for a draft position.
It’s amazing what the Broncos have done since their bye week in Week 6. They have won six of their last seven games, have shot from last place in the AFC West to first and have gone from lottery pick in the NFL draft to playoff contender.
The Broncos have their final four games set up perfectly for them. They have three of those final four games at home, against two injury-depleted teams in Chicago and Kansas City. Plus a game on the road against a struggling Buffalo Bills team.
This Broncos team, led by Tim Tebow, will come into the NFL playoffs at 10-6 as the No. 4 seed. They will be one of the hottest teams, winning nine of 11, and they will bring one of the best defenses in the league.
They will be a tough match up for whoever plays them in the first round.
History has proven that teams that enter the playoffs on a hot streak can go deep in the playoffs. All three of these teams will enter the playoffs on winning streaks, with the chance at making a run at this year’s Super Bowl.
