WWE: Why John Morrison Deserved Better on His Last Night
The Monday and Friday Night Delight, the Guru of Greatness, the Honcho of Hotness and now...the future endeavored.
Is it me or did WWE really lose something of great value last week?

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Letting go of JoMo is a terrible mistake.
All right, so he didn't have the most incredible mic skills I have ever heard, but that was simply because he wasn't in his element as a babyface. Turning him heel would have been the way to salvage his declining WWE career.
Since joining the ranks of the company in 2005 as "Johnny Nitro," Morrison gained success as a numerous-time Tag Team and Intercontinental Champion. He won over many fans and even won a Slammy Award for his online show The Dirt Sheet alongside former partner and rival, The Miz.
What went wrong? Is there really a conspiracy in the WWE?
It all seems to go back to this past WrestleMania where allegedly John Morrison was upset that Trish Stratus took part in his match instead of longtime girlfriend and former Diva Melina. He messed with the wrong people and it cost him and his squeeze their careers.
I think that is silly. Just use that in a storyline instead. I would have turned both of them heels right away and there would have been countless things I could have done with that. How about a small stable of JoMo, Melina, Miz and Maryse?
Four self-involved young upstarts who could have taken the company by storm. Call them the ABBA of WWE.
All heels until Miz and Maryse turn face or tweeners, something like that. It would have been fun and no one would have gotten the boot.
Instead, we had to watch as Melina got released when the Divas division needs her the most and John Morrison lost a horrible match against The Miz on RAW!
I don't mind Miz being the one to send him off because he is my favorite, but why in such a nasty way? They could have been allowed to give us a great match like the one in January, I think. We the fans, if not both Superstars, deserved that above all else.
It is a shame that a company of high prestige like WWE, who have such innovative vision, can be so short-sighted.
Yes, I know all too well if you make a huge mistake, there is payback most of the time but come on!
How many times did Randy Orton mess up and why is he always forgiven? What does he have that is so special?
No one is thrashing no one right now. The Viper is a great performer but the Shaman of Sexy can pull moves that would make Macho Man jealous. Simply making him take a vacation long enough to work up a good contract and a heel turn would have made more sense than letting him go.
John Morrison deserves a hell of a lot more. To be compared to the likes of Shawn Michaels does not happen every day. You have to milk that for all its worth.
What is most insulting is disreputable-looking creeps like John Laurinaitis gloating over JoMo's departure on Twitter. So unprofessional in my book but you know what? There is justice in this world and life always finds a way to make things right.
For all we know, John Morrison and Melina could pop up in TNA and make sense of that whole mess. Another thought would be to see him become a success in something else than pro-wrestling to the point where WWE begs him to return someday.
You never know.
He is a young, vibrant performer with incredible looks.
Johnny Nitro...I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do from now on and believe me, I will make you a great star in my version of your career in WWE '12.
