WWE News: Two Top WWE Developmental Stars Possibly Nearing Main Roster Call-Up
WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, is loaded with talent, many of which are better than some of the guys we see on RAW and SmackDown every week.
Over the weekend, FCW wrestler Damien Sandow—formerly known in the WWE as Idol Stevens—was on the road working on the SmackDown brand, and it appears he could have two other developmental studs join him there in the near future.

"There is talk that top FCW talents Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) and Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) may go on the road with WWE this month to get a look from producers. The two have had a much-talked about series of matches in FCW since Ambrose was signed earlier this year.
"
By most measures, Ambrose and Rollins are the class of WWE developmental.
Ambrose tore the house down with a surprise match against CM Punk at an FCW show earlier this year, and by all means, he looks like he could be a huge star in the making. He’s also wrestled William Regal in the past, and if the WWE is putting him in matches against two top-notch workers like Punk and Regal, then you know he’s got to be pretty damn good.
As for Rollins, many of us remember him from his ROH days as Tyler Black, and it’s a shock to me that he’s still in FCW when he’s been in developmental for more than year. I thought he would be on the main roster by now, so it only makes sense that he’s being considered for a spot on RAW or SmackDown.
He and Ambrose are two great grapplers, and they have legitimate potential to be main-eventing in the WWE within the next couple of years. Before that happens, though, they obviously need to be called up to the main roster first.
Their upcoming tryouts during dark matches will be huge tests to see if they’re definitely ready for the big-time, and I’m pretty confident that both Rollins and Ambrose are. The thing is, I still wouldn’t bring them up to the main roster for good until April at the earliest.
With WrestleMania right around the corner, we don’t want to see either of these guys’ debuts get overshadowed and have them get lost in the shuffle as a result.
They’ve been patient enough waiting down in FCW. Another few months there won’t kill them.
