Tim Tebow Video: Watch Denver Broncos QB Star in Horrid Remake of Rudy

Is there no corner of the football universe that Tebowmania hasn't yet consumed?

At least one enterprising Denver Broncos fan decided to exercise his amateur video editing skills to glorify Tim Tebow as the modern NFL version of Rudy.

You remember Rudy, don't you? The early 1990s sports classic about Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger, the runty walk-on at Notre Dame who defied the odds and actually made it onto the field for two plays during his one and only collegiate game?

Yeah, doesn't sound much like Tebow. Sure, the buildup bears a certain resemblance—John Fox doesn't believe too strongly in Tebow, even though Tebow, despite his limited football abilities, thinks he can win, a third party (in this case, the Denver crowd) gets behind Tebow; Tebow gets into a game and shows he's got some skills, etc.

Of course, Rudy didn't win a Heisman Trophy in college, nor was he a first-round pick in the NFL Draft. Nor did Rudy carry a team from the basement to the penthouse in the AFC West.

As tacky as this video may seem for Rudy, it might even be more disrespectful for Tebow given what he's helped the Broncos to accomplish in his time under center.

And, really, is the blurry paint filter necessary? What about all the shots of Jared Allen? What's his role in all this?

Perhaps impulsive YouTube behavior is just a symptom of Tebowmania, to which NFL psychiatrists have yet to find a useful treatment.
