Tim Tebow Proves No Hater Can Slow Him Down
Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has a lot of haters. They range from television analysts and opposing players to casual football fans and those who dislike him because of his strong support of religion. Heck, even his own front office isn't sure if he's the answer.
So the question becomes, how has such a seemingly innocent, hard-working player been transformed into one of the most polarizing figures in sports?
Since taking over as Denver's starter during the team's bye week, Tebow has guided the Broncos to a 6-1 record and a spot atop the AFC West. His flair for the dramatic, especially during crunch time, makes him seem more like a comic book superhero rather than an NFL quarterback.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
His throwing motion isn't perfect, and it probably never will be, but his youthful enthusiasm has breathed life into a dying Broncos season. There's no doubt that the roster has been playing with a different level of intensity since late October.
And for all the talk about a lack of accuracy, Tebow's quarterback rating would rank 10th if he had enough passes to qualify. Add in the fact he only has three turnovers and he's actually been quite efficient.
For every negative about his style, and granted there are several, there is often an equally important counterpoint on the positive side. With each passing victory, it becomes more difficult for John Elway and Co. to ignore his success.
He's never going to be an elite gunslinger like Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady. However, if you support him with a strong defense and enough viable weapons to utilize on offense, he can make enough plays to win close contests. That's been proven.
It's not easy to perform under the constant pressure he faces on a weekly basis. He knows in the back of his mind that an entire nation of columnists are waiting for him to fall flat so they can pen an “I told you so” exposé.
Through it all, Tebow continues to prove the doubters wrong. It's a surprising run that may or may not last, but one thing's for sure: he doesn't deserve all of the negative publicity he receives. He's just a happy-go-lucky kid pursuing his dreams.
What's to hate about that?
