Week 14 Waiver Wire: Scouting Marion Barber and the Best Available Players
On the Week 14 waiver wire, the following players are the best available fantasy players:
QB Rex Grossman, Redskins: Grossman was terrible on Sunday against the Jets, but look ahead. The Redskins take on the Patriots this weekend, and that defense is fresh off allowing Dan Orlovsky to complete 30-of-37 passes. Take Grossman for the matchup, not the player.
RB Marion Barber, Bears: Matt Forte has a MCL sprain that will likely keep him out two to four weeks. Barber will take over the starting job in the Bears' backfield, a position that should give him more than enough touches to be fantasy relevant.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
RB Toby Gerhart, Vikings: Will Adrian Peterson go next week? That's the big question here. Gerhart ran for 91 yards and had eight catches for 42 more against the Broncos on Sunday. He's worth a pickup if Peterson stays on the sidelines.
RB Maurice Morris, Lions: Kevin Smith can't seem to keep himself on the field, so Morris is a guy that is going to see touches regardless. If Smith is completely ruled out for next week against the Vikings, Morris is a guy you can start in most fantasy leagues.
RB Donald Brown, Colts: I've been preaching about Brown for a couple weeks now in this space, and he continues to put up decent fantasy numbers on a terrible offense. There's no reason for Brown to not keep getting the most touches in the Colts' backfield.
WR Nate Burleson, Lions: A hat trick of offensive pass interference penalties kept Burleson from having a big game Sunday night in New Orleans. But you have to like the Lions matchup this coming week against the Vikings. That secondary was dazed and confused on Sunday against Tim Tebow and the Broncos.
WR Riley Cooper, Eagles: Both Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin could be back this week, so Cooper's value drops a touch. But it's hard to argue with what Cooper has done over the past couple of weeks, as he's recorded over 250 receiving yards over the last three games.
Broncos DEF/ST: Yes, I know the Broncos just gave up 32 points and 381 passing yards to Christian Ponder and the Vikings. However, the Broncos welcome the Bears to Denver this week, and they'll be without their top two offensive players. Denver's D could feast.
