NFL Power Rankings: Looking at the Worst Teams in Each Conference

Zach KruseDec 5, 2011

Let's take a look at the two worst teams in each conference for our Week 14 NFL power rankings:

AFC

Colts (0-12): The Colts covered the Vegas spread and Dan Orlovsky completed 30-of-37 passes, but at the end of the day, Indianapolis is still 0-12 and well on their way to a winless season. Games against Baltimore, Tennessee, Houston and Jacksonville remain.

Jaguars (3-8): The head coach is gone, ownership is changing and their starting quarterback is a first-rounder that looks more like an undrafted free agent. That's an ugly trifecta of things that have come down on the Jags this season. They could help save face with a win over San Diego on Monday night.

NFC

Rams (2-10): He still has four games to give the Rams something, but don't you think Steve Spagnuolo has to go as head coach? The Rams have packed in their season and it could get really bad down the stretch with games against Seattle, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and San Francisco.

It's hard to see a win over the final quarter of the season for St. Louis, and 2-14 almost always means a head coach removal, especially one that's been there for a couple of seasons.

Vikings (2-10): The Vikings just keep inventing new ways to lose football games. It looked like they were going to get the chance to drain the clock and get the game-winning points, but they stalled and had to kick a field goal with plenty of time remaining.

Tim Tebow then tied the game, and Christian Ponder gave the Broncos the win with an interception on the Vikings next possession. Just a terrible way to lose a football game.
