WWE News: Access Hollywood Host Maria Menounos Headed Back to the Ring

On Friday, December 1st, Access Hollywood host Maria Menounos tweeted that she was headed back into the ring.

Menounos stated:

Cats out of the bag-im goin back to wrestle in the wwe!!! Had my first training session be4 flying last night-lots of bruises!!!psyched!

"

Later in the week, she added several other tweets about her progress:

started training for wwe thurs pm & am soo bruised& beaten up.trained in an outdoor ring during our mini la hurricane.more to come...

Gotta work really hard if I'm goin up against beth phoenix and the gang. Nervous....ok terrified....can't turn back now can I?

What do u guys think? Will I be able to hang? Or am I crazy and in for a beat down?

You may remember Menounos stepped in the ring two years ago to take part in a Six-Diva tag-team match on Raw. According to WWE.com, her partners were Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim and that team proved victorious over Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes.

She has yet to reveal when she will be stepping back in the ring. However, one would think she could be gearing up for a WrestleMania run, as the "Grandaddy of Them All" usually sports a big celebrity punch.

Granted, they already have The Rock, but why not add a little more mainstream star power into their biggest pay-per-view of the year?

I guess we will here more about Maria's appearance in the coming weeks or months.
