James Starks Injury: Update on Packers RB's Ankle Injury
Green Bay Packers running back James Starks suffered an ankle injury late in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Giants, having to be carted off the field.
Starks has battled a right ankle injury the last couple of weeks, with a combined 15 rushes in his last two games.
The injury came after Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw his fifth interception of the season, setting the Giants up for a 17-14 lead.

Fantasy Impact
Starks wasn't much of a fantasy asset anyway.
He did have 770 total yards entering Sunday's game, but he's only scored one touchdown, particularly because the Packers have realized keeping the ball in Rodgers' hands as often as possible generally is a good idea.
I'm hoping, for your sake, you weren't relying on Starks up until this point.
Who's the Backup?
If Starks is forced to miss time, Ryan Grant would get more carries, but I wouldn't count on him. He's averaging just 3.6 yards per carry this season with no touchdowns and there's a reason why Starks has overtaken him on the depth chart.
Devastation Scale
I'm giving this a 3 out of 10.
The Packers don't rely on their running game anyway, using runs here and there to keep the defense guessing.
One thing Rodgers has proven is that he doesn't need a whole lot of help except in the receiving corps. This would make the Packers less dangerous, but on a minute level.
Timeline for Return
Starks is questionable to return and isn't expected to be back at all in the second half for the Packers, who currently lead the Giants. 21-17.
