Tim Tebow: Broncos QB Will Carry Denver into Playoffs

The Denver Broncos today were once again led to a come from behind victory over the Minnesota Vikings by quarterback Tim Tebow. Since being named starter, Tebow has led the Broncos to a record of 6-1. Most of those games have been close, with Tebow often carrying the team from behind late in the fourth quarter.

Tebow has many naysayers, but he continues to prove them wrong each week. Tebow isn't the ideal franchise quarterback, but he is proving to be, perhaps, changing the idea of an ideal quarterback. Tebow has only thrown eight touchdowns in seven games, but he has been getting things done and that is all that matters.

If Tebow can take the Broncos to the playoffs, it will be hard for the Broncos to find an excuse to take a different direction. With the Chicago Bears coming to town next weekend, the Broncos should be poised to claim another victory. Ever since quarterback Jay Cutler went down, the Bears have not been the same team.

With a victory over the Bears, the Broncos will stand at 8-5 and will be likely in charge of the AFC West. They do have a tough run of games following the Bears, including a home game at the New England Patriots and then on the road against the Buffalo Bills. Those two games will be tough, but if the Broncos can claim a victory in either of those games, they should be in a good position to make the playoffs.

Their last game will be at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, which should not be a problem for the Broncos. Tebow has proven that he can win games, and with what the NFC West has been, he should be able to continue their come from behind run and claim the top spot as their own.

Tebow will continue his unique style of play, and that will continue to keep the Broncos ride going into the playoffs. While the AFC will likely put them up against a tough opponent, perhaps an early round game potentially against the Cincinnati Bengals will help the Broncos go further then round one.

If there is one thing we have learned after seven weeks, there is never a reason to doubt the Broncos when Tebow takes the field.
