Kyle Rudolph TD Video: Watch Vikings Rookie Tight End's Sensational Score

Patrick ClarkeDec 4, 2011

Minnesota Vikings rookie tight end Kyle Rudolph turned a 7-5 baseball contest into an actual NFL football game on Sunday afternoon when he scored six points the hard way for the struggling Vikings.

The sensational second-quarter TD was just the second of Rudolph's career, and just his 18th career reception.

Certainly not a bad snag for a rookie, especially a rookie less than a year out of Notre Dame.

Rudolph out-muscles two Denver Broncos defenders and uses his helmet quite nicely to maintain the possession necessary for a TD in today's NFL.

David Tyree has nothing on Rudolph after this play. Tyree didn't have defenders draped all over him like on this play.

Christian Ponder was most likely backpedaling to prevent a pick-six after he released this ball.

Rudolph isn't even close to being open. Well, he is for a second, but he is quickly running out of real estate and air space.

This TD is truly superb and will no doubt make its way onto all of our televisions Monday morning.

Duh-da-duh duh-da-duh. That's a top play nominee if I've ever seen one, and Tebow will be hard-pressed to recreate anything that amazing this season.

Rudolph gets the easy nod for best catch of Week 13 with this one-pawed gem.
