Liverpool FC Scout Tottenham Target David "Junior" Hoilett of Blackburn Rovers
David Wayne "Junior" Hoilett, or simply Junior Hoilett of Blackburn Rovers has been attracting a lot of interest from the Top clubs in the premier league in the last few months largely due to his highly energetic style of play and dribbling skills.
However, what makes Hoilett an attractive proposition for clubs like Tottenham (and Arsenal in the past) is that the diminutive Canadian is also good at finishing off after weaving in his creativity.
Harry Redknapp of Tottenham Hotspur has clearly admitted his admiration for the player and the London based club has been linked with the player ever since. Recent rumors suggest a bid of around £7m for the player may come around the winter transfer window and with Hoilett's contract running out and talks to extend it, stalling, this could be Blackburn's best chance to cash in on the player.

Blackburn's chances of holding on to the player could now get further diminished if a tweet from Ben Smith of The Times is anything to go by. As the Rovers took on Swansea at Ewood park this game week, Ben Smith, who has successfully predicted a few transfers in the summer transfer window about Liverpool, tweeted :
bensmith_Times Ben Smith Back underway at Ewood Park. Junior Hoilett is a real talent - quick feet, clever on the field. #LFC among those watching him
Thus indicating Liverpool's interest in the player. This should really not be surprising as Liverpool were linked numerous times with a similar player in Charles N'Zogbia in the past two windows and even though the player joined Aston Villa instead, the fact that the Reds are after such a player can be understood.
Now, with Tottenham already having a plethora of players of a similar nature in their set up, the 21-year old Canadian could easily find himself on the bench more often than not. It is here that Liverpool could come into the picture with a promise of more first team football if they are really keen on the player.
Personally, I think David Hoilett isn't really a very good crosser of the ball, however, he has the ability to add an additional spark to the Reds because of his brilliant dribbling skills and vision. Also being just 21 year old means that the player is just at the right age and could easily develop into a far more formidable one and also could guarantee a high resale value.
After Damien Comolli came in to look after Liverpool's transfer deals, he has iterated a numerous times that players with premier league experience would be given a priority and in such light it wouldn't be tough to see Liverpool going for Hoilett if they really consider that they can get a bargain by doing so.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have also started a training session with Juan Agudelo of the United States, another promising attacker in the making. After his first session at Melwood, the 19 year old Columbian who plays for America tweeted:
juanagudelo17 Juan Agudelo Memorable day in Melwood today #LFC , had a #wickeD day today on the training pitch mate. #dream
