Aaron Rodgers Tribute Video: Watch Creepy Fans' Song to Packers QB

You know that you have made it in the world today when there is a fan-made music video that circulates on YouTube. I am surprised that it took this long considering how well he played last January, but a group known as the Sleeping Berries Three has immortalized Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. 

The name of the song is "I Could Be Your Jordy."

Most of these kinds of songs try to serve as unofficial hype anthems—see Supwitchugirl's tribute to the Oregon Ducks, "I Love My Ducks"—but this one goes for the creepy love song that you would see in a really bad romantic comedy starring Hilary Duff. 

Just the opening shot of the video with the singer sitting in a tree is strange enough, but the piano and longing look in his eyes is a little unusual. Don't get me wrong, I have been crazy over athletes too, but I have never thought of doing anything like this to express it. 

But the beauty of YouTube is that anyone can talk about anything they want, and the Sleeping Berries Three really wanted to show the world how much Rodgers means to them. 

I will admit that the song did have me hooked until about the 1:45 mark when the singer keeps using the word yard in his rhyme scheme. He should know that you can't use the same word over and over again. It's lazy writing and it takes away from the rest of this magical video. 

Even so, give the Sleeping Berries Three—I would love to hear the story behind that name—credit for being original and putting their best foot forward to showcase how far a group of three young men (presumably from Wisconsin) will go to tell Rodgers how awesome he is and what he means to them. 

I would not put this anthem in he pantheon of great fan-made tributes, but I will stick in the second tier for originality and effort.
