WWE News: Batista Beefing Up Again for WWE Return?

Last year, a handful of pictures of former WWE superstar Batista surfaced on the web. In this snapshot, in particular, the once ultra-massive and ripped specimen seemed mortal and unimposing.

For better or worse, the 42-year-old, with MMA aspirations on his mind, no longer had to maintain his world-famous physique. For months, "The Animal" had been burning calories at a frenetic pace, concerned more with endurance than appearances.

However, just a few days ago, the former WWE and world heavyweight champion released a revealing photo of himself on his Twitter page.

While not having reacquired his brick-like mass, Batista is as defined as ever, more so in the abdominal region where he is sporting a very clear-cut six-pack.

Moreover, the WWE icon has a new hair style that is drastically dissimilar from his patented close-cropped 'do—a Mohawk.

It's not just his new look, though, that raises the eyebrows of wrestling fans who would like to see him return to the ring. On Nov. 30, Batista also submitted the following words to cyberspace via his Twitter account:

"

I make an announcement all my followers are going to FLIP..and I will be dropping BOMBS! Haters aren't ready

"

Could the former WrestleMania headliner be referring to "Batista Bombs"?

And if so, who will be on the receiving end of them?

Mark Henry?

The Miz?

CM Punk?

Someone else?
