TUF 14 Finale Results: 3 Things We Learned About Mayhem Miller
Tonight at The Ultimate Fighter 14 finale, Jason "Mayhem" Miller made his return to the UFC.
Although Miller had a good run as a coach on the show, he was not successful inside the Octagon, as he lost to Michael Bisping.
Many fans wanted to see Miller beat down Bisping.
Instead, they got a rude awakening on where Miller is in his career.
Here are three things we learned from tonight's main event.
Miller Needs to Work on His Striking
1 of 3We know coming into the fight that Michael Bisping would have the advantage in the stand-up department.
What some may not have known was just how much Bisping was ahead of Miller.
Although Miller got some shots in, his wild punches just could not find a home.
If Miller is really going to be an elite fighter, he will have to improve his striking.
Miller Is a Good Showman, but Far from an Elite Fighter
2 of 3It’s not hard to cheer for a guy like Miller.
On The Ultimate Fighter, Miller proved that he could be a humble guy and have fun at the same time.
Even while he was getting knocked around by Bisping, he kept a smile on his face and asked the Brit for more.
Although Miller is a great entertainer, he is not on the same level that other top middleweights are.
He Has Heart
3 of 3One positive thing that came out of this fight for Miller is the fact that he has a ton of heart.
Miller was bloody and battered by the end of the fight thanks to Bisping’s precise striking. Despite this, he refused to give up.
Miller’s stamina may not have been the best, but his heart is what kept him in the fight.
