NFL Playoff Predictions: Tim Tebow Will Lead Denver Broncos to Postseason
Tim Tebow is the biggest source of controversy in the NFL, yet he will soon be in the playoffs. While he started the year behind Kyle Orton (and was still making headlines), he is now starting and making headlines of a different kind.
Tebow's Denver Broncos have gone 5-1 and will be 6-1 later today.
Tebow began this incredible run with an overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Losing 0-15 with only three minutes left, the Broncos were driving. Tebow completed a five-yard pass to Demaryius Thomas for a touchdown, cutting the gap to eight. After converting an onside kick, the Broncos then drove the field and scored on a three-yard pass to Daniel Fells. Tebow then ran in the two-point conversion to tie the game at 15.
In overtime, the Broncos defense stepped up, getting the ball back on the Dolphins' 36-yard line. The Broncos could go only two yards, but Matt Prater hit a 52-yard field goal for the win.
Since that memorable game, the Broncos lost to the Detroit Lions but then won four straight games—three of which were on the road.
Tebow's Broncos are the best rushing team in the league despite having arguably the worst passing game. They are getting the job done on defense as well, and they are one of the hottest teams in the NFL.
At 6-5, the Broncos are second in the AFC West, trailing the Oakland Raiders by one game (a team they beat under Tebow).
Of their last five games, the Broncos should easily win three: against the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. They could also beat the Chicago Bears or New England Patriots at home.
The Broncos should easily go 9-7 or 10-6, which would be good enough to secure a division title in the weak AFC West. The Raiders should only win two or three more games, which would put them behind the Broncos.
Under the guidance of Tim Tebow, this team will make the playoffs.
I want to take this time to say that I am not a writer who believes Tebow to be a good quarterback. I truly believe that Tebow is a mediocre quarterback who is highly inconsistent, but runs well.
Instead, I believe that he and the Broncos are a solid team that will win in a very weak division thanks to a weak schedule.
The Broncos will definitely make the playoffs this year and could beat their first opponent who must be a wild-card team. The Broncos are good at home and this will give them an advantage in their first playoff game.
This team will make the playoffs, but Tebow is not their quarterback of the future. While they have done well recently, they have played only two good teams: the Lions and the Jets.
The Broncos were embarrassed by the Lions at home and beat the Jets in Denver due to a short week for the Jets and the fact that they had to travel across the country.
I do not believe this team to be one of the top six in the AFC, but they will still make the playoffs, thanks in part to Tim Tebow.
