WWE TLC 2011: The Undertaker and Other Stars the WWE Should Bring Back

Donald WoodDec 3, 2011

With WWE’s most hardcore pay-per-view (PPV) events coming up on December 18, it has everyone ready for the wildest show of the entire year.

While the gimmick of tables, ladders and chairs (TLC) is enough to keep most fans interested, the WWE needs to bring back some top level talent.

Even if it’s not for this show, WWE needs to start planning the return of these stars for all of the PPVs moving forward. There is some big name potential, and WWE needs to capitalize on it.

The Undertaker: The WWE is starting the push for WrestleMania with TLC. Storylines will have developed to the point of both making sense and happening in a timely fashion, and thats something WWE has to figure out.

That’s where The Undertaker comes in. The WWE needs to bring The Undertaker back in order to have him ready to compete in his eventual WrestleMania match to keep his undefeated streak alive.

With a lack of real energy in wrestling right now, the WWE has to hope that The Undertaker's presence will bring energy back to the company like when The Rock returned.

Brodus Clay: Week after week, WWE delays the premiere of the monster they call Brodus Clay  (and week after week people lose more interest).

The WWE, and more importantly Vince McMahon, needs to stop rewriting scripts and just allow things to develop. Brodus Clay should have already debuted and been involved in a TLC match.

While I don’t believe they will do this, the best option they have left would be to debut Clay in a match against a wrestler like Ezekiel Jackson in order to make Clay seem stronger. If they don’t debut him now, we will never care about this guy.

Rob Van Dam (RVD): This is more of a long-term move, but there is no better star the WWE could get back then Rob Van Dam. While Jericho and The Undertaker are nice, no star could get as much out of CM Punk as RVD.

The five star matches those two would pull off would be out of this world. Just as they were fantastic working together on WWE’s Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), it would be even better with the WWE title in the mix.

CM Punk is fantastic in the ring and getting someone to work a match as well as he does is tough. With RVD and CM Punk in the same ring, they would make magic.
